BPS Gresik Regency is again holding a Gresik Hebat Out Now (RIGHT NOW) Release with the topic of Strategic Indicators for the Development of the Consumer Price Index for Gresik Regency in May 2025. The Press Release was held in a hybrid manner (online and offline) via the BPS Gresik Regency Youtube Channel. The release was delivered by the Head of BPS Gresik Regency, Ir. Indriya Purwaningsih, M.T. and attended by representatives of various related OPDs within Gresik Regency.

Several important points conveyed in this release are:

1. Gresik Regency experienced deflation m-to-m of 0.51 percent, East Java and National each experienced deflation of 0.34 and 0.37 percent.

2. The main commodities contributing to deflation in May 2025 (m-to-m) include: cayenne pepper, shallots, tilapia fish, garlic, broiler chicken, and red chili.

3. The highest inflation (y-on-y) occurred in Tulungagung Regency at 1.84 percent and the lowest in Gresik Regency at 0.60 percent
