Abstract

Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) East Java in August 2015 rose 1.22 percent from 103.87 into 105.14. NTP rise is due to the increase in the index of prices received by farmers (It) is higher than the increase in the index of prices paid by farmers (Ib).

In August 2015, three agricultural sub-sector increased NTP and the rest declined. NTP biggest rise occurred in the sub sectors of Food Crops by 2.18 percent from 99.77 followed by 97.64 into Smallholder Crop sub-sector by 1.82 percent from 100.69 into 102.53 and Livestock sector amounted to 1.08 percent from 112.34 into 113.55. While the decline occurred in the NTP fisheries sub-sector by 0.30 percent from 105.56 and 105.87 into horticulture sub-sector by 0.31 percent from 104.11 into 103.79.
