Abstract

In September 2015 Jawa Timur experienced inflation of 0.24 percent. All cities in Jawa Timur CPI inflation. The highest inflation was in Jember by 0.29 percent, followed Kediri and Surabaya respectively by 0.26 percent, 0.23 percent Probolinggo, Banyuwangi and Malang each of 0.21 percent, and City of Madison 0.15 percent. While the lowest inflation was recorded at 0.13 percent Sumenep.

Of the seven expenditure groups, five groups of expenditure inflation and two groups of expenditure experienced deflasi.Kelompok experiencing inflasitertinggi spending is education, recreation and sports at 1.41 percent, followed by clothing group by 1.07 percent, food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco by 0.60 percent, health 0.35 percent, and housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel by 0.22 percent. Whereas expenditure groups experienced deflation is a foodstuff by 0.43 percent and the transport, communications, and services keuangansebesar 0.18 percent.
