Abstract

The labor force in Jawa Timur in August 2015 increased 125 thousand to 20.27 million people compared to the total labor force in August 2014.

The total population of Jawa Timur who worked in August 2015 also increased to 19.37 million or an increase of 61 thousand compared to August 2014.

Unemployment Rate (TPT) in Jawa Timur in August 2015 reached 4.47 percent higher than in August 2014 which only reached 4.19 percent.

A decrease in the population of Jawa Timur that works on almost occurred in August 2015 in all sectors, except the construction sector, trade sector, and the Community Services sector.
