Abstract

Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) of Jawa Timur in December 2015 fell 0.41 percent from 106.56 into 106.13. NTP decrease is due to the increase in the index of prices paid by farmers (Ib) is higher than the increase in the index of prices received by farmers (It).

In December 2015, two agricultural sub-sector increased NTP and the rest declined. NTP biggest rise occurred in the sub sectors of horticulture by 0.55 percent from 103.92 and 103.36 into Smallholder Crop sub-sector by 0.46 percent from 100.32 into 100.78. While the sub-sectors that experienced the largest decrease in that sub-sector NTP Ranch by 1.27 percent from 112.78 into 111.35 fisheries sub-sector followed by 1.17 percent from 106.38 into 105.14 and Food Crops sub-sector amounted to 0 , 49 from 150.77 into 105.26.
