Abstract

Exchange Rate Fishermen (NTN) Jawa Timur in January 2016 rose by 1.35 percent from 104.91 in December 2015 to 106.33 in January 2016. The increase is due to NTN index of prices received by fishermen increased by 0.16 percent while the index of prices paid fishermen decreased by 1.17 percent.

Ten major commodities that experienced the largest increase in the index of prices received by fishermen is tuna, flying fish, swanggi fish, squid, catfish, swordfish, tuna, shellfish, fish layur, and lethrinidae. While ten major commodities that experienced the largest drop in the index of prices received by fishermen is kuniran fish, pompano / bebara, mackerel, anchovies, mackerel, snapper, fish oil sardine, pomfret, shrimp, and grouper.
