Abstract

Exchange Rate Fishermen (NTN) of Jawa Timur in July 2016 rose by 1.11 percent from 112.68 in June 2016 became 113.93 in July 2016. The increase is due to NTN index of prices received by fishermen increased by 1,93 percent while the index of prices paid fishermen only increased by 0.81 percent.

Ten major commodities that experienced the largest increase in the index of prices received fisherman is tuna, mackerel, flying fish, fish kuniran, anchovy, swanggi, tuna, crab, fish oil sardine and pomfret. While ten key commodities that experienced the largest decline the index of prices received by fishermen is peperek fish, fish gulamah, gerot-gerot fish, shellfish, tuna, fish-knives machetes, octopus, sole, sea cucumbers, and mussels.
