Abstract

The index of Consumer Tendency (ITK) of Jawa Timur in Quarter II-2017 was recorded at 123.21. The level of consumer optimism in the second quarter of 2017 increased significantly 18.91 points compared to the first quarter-2017 (104.30). The main cause of this increased optimism is driven by household consumption expenditure during Ramadhan to Idul Fitri. In addition, several major religious days that fall in the second quarter of 2017 also affect household consumption
