In September 2018 Jawa Timur experienced 0.01 percent deflation. Three cities experienced inflation and five cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation was in the City of Kediri which reached 0.20 percent while the highest deflation occurred in Banyuwangi which was 0.49 percent.
