Profile of Poverty in Jawa Timur September 2018

Abstraction

In September 2018, the number of poor people in Jawa Timur reached 4,292.15 thousand people (10.85 percent), a decrease of 40.44 thousand people compared to the condition in March 2018 which amounted to 4,332.59 thousand people (10.98 percent). The percentage of poor people in urban areas in March 2018 was 7.06 percent, down to 6.97 percent in September 2018. While the percentage of poor people in rural areas in March 2018 was 15.30 percent, down to 15.21 percent in September 2018.
