Abstract

Rice harvest area in Jawa Timur in 2019 is estimated at 1,702 million hectares or decreased by 48,766 thousand hectares or 2.78 percent compared to 2018.
Rice production in Jawa Timur in 2019 is estimated at 9.58 million tons of MPD or decreased as much 622.28 thousand tons or 6.10 percent compared to 2018.
If rice production in 2019 is converted to rice for population food consumption, rice production in Jawa Timur in 2019 amounted to 5.50 million tons or experienced a decrease of 357,466 thousand tons or 6.10 percent compared to 2018.
