Gresik Regency's Economic Growth in 2024 Reaches 4.79 Percent

In February 2025, on a year-on-year (y-on-y) basis, Gresik Regency experienced deflation of 0.14 percent.

The number of foreign tourists to East Java through the Juanda entrance in September fell by 16.67 percent, while the ROR for star-rated hotels fell by 1.61 points

• Foreign tourist visits (tourists) who came to East Java through the Juanda entrance in September 2020 decreased by 16.67 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists visiting in August 2020, from 24 visits to 20 visits.

• The number of foreign tourists visiting September 2020 decreased by 99.90 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in the same period in 2019 which reached 20,462 visits.

• During the January - September 2020 period, the most foreign tourists were Malaysian nationals who reached 10,552 visits (with a contribution of 30.35 percent), followed by Singaporean nationals with 3,943 visits (with a contribution of 11.34 percent), and Chinese nationals with 2,288 visits (with a contribution of 6.58 percent).

• Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in East Java in September 2020 reached 32.56 percent or decreased by 1.61 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 2 (two) star hotels by 40.23 percent is the highest ROR for other star hotels.

• The average length of stay for foreign guests (RLMT) at star hotels in September 2020 reached 4.16 or an increase of 0.82 points compared to August 2020 which reached 3.34 days. The overall RLMT in September 2020 was 1.64 days or decreased by 0.03 points when compared to August 2020 which reached 1.67 days.
