Abstract

  • The export value of East Java Province in September 2021 reached USD 1.99 billion, an increase of 0.17 percent compared to August 2021. This value compared to September 2020 increased by 25.32 percent.
  • Non-oil and gas exports in September 2021 reached USD 1.89 billion or decreased by 1.95 percent compared to August 2021. This value compared to September 2020 increased by 23.96 percent.
  • Oil and gas exports in September 2021 reached USD 96.69 million, an increase of 72.95 percent compared to August 2021. This value increased by 59.31 percent compared to September 2020.
  • Cumulatively, during January - September 2021, exports out of East Java Province amounted to USD 16.58 billion, an increase of 16.44 percent compared to January - September 2020.
  • The import value of East Java Province in September 2021 reached USD 2.15 billion or decreased by 8.41 percent compared to August 2021. This value compared to September 2020 increased by 22.68 percent.
  • Non-oil and gas imports in September 2021 reached USD 1.76 billion or decreased by 4.69 percent compared to August 2021. This value compared to September 2020 increased by 22.97 percent.
  • Oil and gas imports in September 2021 reached USD 0.39 billion or decreased by 22.22 percent compared to August 2021. This value increased by 21.36 percent compared to September 2020.
  • Cumulatively, during January - September 2021, imports out of East Java Province amounted to USD 19.34 billion, an increase of 31.35 percent compared to January - September 2020.
  • East Java's trade balance during September 2021 experienced a deficit of USD 160.43 million. This deficit was caused by the deficit in the oil and gas sector which was greater than the surplus in the non-oil and gas sector. The difference in trade value in the oil and gas sector was a deficit of USD 289.44 million, while the difference in the value of trade in the non-oil and gas sector experienced a surplus of USD 129.01 million.
