Abstract

In December 2021 there will be no foreign tourists visiting East Java through the Juanda entrance. This condition is the same as the conditions in November 2021.
The number of foreign tourist visits in December 2021 also decreased by 100.00 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in the same period in 2020 which reached 85 visits.
During the January - December 2021 period, the most foreign tourists were Japanese nationals who reached 97 visits, followed by United States nationals who reached 87 visits and South Korean nationals who reached 64 visits.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star classification hotels in East Java in December 2021 reached an average of 55.74 percent, an increase of 2.92 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 4 (four) star hotels is 61.36 percent, which is the highest ROR for other five-star hotels.
The average length of stay of foreign guests (RLMT) at star classification hotels during December 2021 was recorded at 1.47 days or a decrease of 0.89 points when compared to November 2021 which reached 2.36 days. The overall RLMT in December 2021 is 1.37 days or has the same conditions as the RLMT in November 2021.
