Abstract

The rice harvested area in 2021 will reach around 1.747 million hectares, a decrease of 6.90 thousand hectares or 0.39 percent compared to 2020 which was 1.754 million hectares.
Rice production in 2021, which is 9.789 million tons of GKG, decreased by 154.95 thousand tons of GKG or 1.56 percent compared to 2020 which was 9.944 million tons of GKG.
Rice production in 2021 for the population's food consumption will reach 5.653 million tons, a decrease of 89.47 thousand tons or 1.56 percent compared to rice production in 2020 which was 5.742 million tons.

In 2023, the rice harvest area will reach around 1.698 million hectares with rice production of 9.71 million tons of milled dry grain (GKG)

In 2020, broad rice harvest of 1.75 million hectares with production amounting to 9.94 million tons of MPD. If converted into rice, rice production on 2020 to reach 5.71 million tons.
