Abstract

The East Java Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) in April 2022 fell 1.51 percent from 101.55 to 100.02. The decrease in NTP was due to the price index received by farmers (It) decreased by 0.80 percent, while the price index paid by farmers (Ib) increased by 0.72 percent.
In April 2022, three agricultural sub-sectors experienced a decrease in FTT while the other two sub-sectors experienced an increase. The sub-sector that experienced the largest decrease in FTT occurred in the Hortculture sub-sector by 5.72 percent from 103.60 to 97.67, followed by the Food Crops sub-sector by 2.37 percent from 101.40 to 98.99, and the People's Plantation Sub-sector by 0. 12 percent from 100.65 to 100.53. On the other hand, the sub-sector that experienced the largest increase in FTT was the Livestock sub-sector by 1.72 percent from 101.15 to 102.89, followed by the Fisheries sub-sector by 1.06 percent from 103.07 to 104.16.
