Abstract

The Fishermen's Exchange Rate (NTN) in East Java in May 2022 rose 0.24 percent from 104.70 in April 2022 to 104.95 in May 2022.

The development of NTN in May 2022 against December 2021 (calendar year) increased by 2.28 percent. The development of NTN in May 2022 against May 2021 (year on year) increased by 3.67 percent.

Of the six provinces on the island of Java that calculated NTN in May 2022, four provinces experienced an increase in NTN, and two provinces experienced a decrease in NTN. DI Yogyakarta Province rose by 2.36 percent, West Java Province rose 2.00 percent, Central Java Province rose 0.67 percent, and East Java Province increased 0.24 percent. The ones that experienced a decrease in NTN were DKI Jakarta, which fell by 0.36 percent, and Banten Province, which fell by 0.50 percent.

In May 2022 the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in East Java rose by 0.77 percent, while the Production Cost and Capital Goods Addition Index (BPPBM) rose 0.22 percent.
