Abstract

The East Java Farmers' Exchange Rate (NTP) for November 2022 fell 0.67 percent from 103.57 to 102.88. The decrease in FTT was caused by the price index received by farmers (It) which fell by 0.36 percent, while the price index paid by farmers (Ib) increased by 0.31 percent.
  • In November 2022, three agricultural sub-sectors experienced a decrease in NTP and two sub-sectors experienced an increase. The sub-sector that experienced the largest decrease in NTP occurred in the Hortculture sub-sector by 5.07 percent from 109.95 to 104.38, followed by the Fisheries sub-sector by 1.12 percent from 102.15 to 101.00 and the Food Crops sub-sector by 0.65 percent from 103.57 to 102.90. Meanwhile, the sub-sector that experienced the largest increase in NTP occurred in the People's Plantation Crops sub-sector by 1.06 percent from 102.94 to 104.02, followed by the Livestock sub-sector by 0.92 percent from 101.01 to 101.94.
  • Of the five provinces on Java Island that are calculating their NTP in November 2022, three provinces have experienced a decrease in NTP and two provinces have experienced an increase. The largest decrease in FTT occurred in East Java Province by 0.67 percent, followed by Central Java by 0.38 percent and Banten by 0.36 percent. Meanwhile, the biggest increase occurred in the Special Province of Yogyakarta by 0.31 percent, followed by West Java by 0.18 percent.
