Gresik Regency's Economic Growth in 2024 Reaches 4.79 Percent

In March 2025, the Consumer Price Index rose 1.77 percent, seasonally adjusted, and rose 0.81 percent over the last 12 months.

April 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Jawa Timur Province 3.25 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Sumenep at 4.87 percent.

Abstract

In April 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Jawa Timur Province will be 3.25 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.99. The highest inflation of 4.87 occurred in Sumenep with a CPI of 109.72 and the lowest inflation occurred in Jember at 2.73 percent with a CPI of 106.68.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 7.47 percent; clothing and footwear group at 2.14 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.57 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 1.21 percent; health group at 2.44 percent; transportation group by 1.92 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 1.00 percent; education group at 1.38 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 2.36 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 4.67 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decline in the index were: information, communication and financial services groups by 0.43 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for East Java Province in April 2024 are 0.36 percent and 1.39 percent respectively.

On August 2024 Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Jawa Timur Province was 2.05 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Sumenep at 3.29 percent.

June 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in East Java Province will be 2.21 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Sumenep at 3.24 percent.

In September 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in East Java Province will be 1.73 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Sumenep at 2.45 percent.

On May 2024 Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Jawa Timur Province was 2.83 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Bojonegoro Regency at 3.44 percent. Share
