Abstract

In January 2024, there were 17,196 foreign tourist visits to East Java through the Juanda entrance. This condition has decreased compared to conditions in December 2023.

The number of foreign tourist visits in January 2024 increased by 59.56 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in January 2023, which amounted to 10,777 visits.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star class hotels in East Java in January 2024 reached an average of 45.02 percent or decreased by 17.75 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 2 (two) star hotels is 51.17 percent, which is the highest ROR compared to other star hotels.

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of non-star classification hotels in East Java

in January 2024 it reached an average of 23.39 percent or a decrease of 6.58 points compared to the previous month.

Average Length of Stay of Foreign Guests (RLMT) at star classification hotels

during January 2024 it was recorded at 1.58 days or a decrease of 0.61 points compared to December 2023. The overall RLMT in January 2024 was 1.41 days or a decrease of 0.01 points compared to the situation in December 2023 .
