Abstract

In August 2016 Jawa Timur experienced deflation of 0.05 percent. Of the eight cities of the CPI in Jawa Timur, seven cities experienced deflation and the cities experienced inflation. The highest deflation occurred in the town of Kediri by 0.57 percent, followed by the City of Madison by 0.52 percent, 0.43 percent Sumenep district, Jember regency of 0.30 percent, 0.20 percent Kota Probolinggo, Banyuwangi by 0, 14 percent, and the lowest deflation was in Malang of 0.03 percent. While inflation occurred in the city of Surabaya by 0.10 percent.
