In August 2018 Jawa Timur experienced an inflation of 0.11 percent. Two cities experienced inflation and six cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation in Surabaya City reached 0.23 percent while the highest deflation occurred in Probolinggo which was 0.35 percent.
