Foreign Tourist Visits (tourists) who came to Jawa Timur through the entrance of Juanda Airport in November 2019 fell by 0.08 percent compared to October, namely from 21,152 visits to 21,135 visits.
The number of foreign tourists visiting November 2019 decreased by 29.53 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in the same period in 2018 which reached 29,992 visits.
Most foreign tourists in November were Malaysians reaching 7,545 visits or up 33.28 percent, followed by Singapore nationalities with 2,336 visits or down 1.10 percent, and Chinese nationalities were 1,982 visits or down by 13.22 percent compared to October 2019.
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in East Java in November 2019 reached 64.25 percent, up 4.32 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 4-star hotels (67) is 67.40 percent, which is the highest ROR compared to ROR for other star-rated hotels.
The average length of stay of foreign guests at star-rated hotels in November 2019 reached 2.95, up 0.53 points compared to October 2019, which reached 2.42 days. The overall RLMT in November 2019 was 1.69 days, up 0.09 points, compared to October which reached 1.60 days.
