Abstract

Abstraction
• East Java Farmers Exchange (NTP) in July 2020 rose 0.22 percent from 99.99 to 100.21. The increase in FTT is due to the price index received by farmers (IT) which has increased while the price index paid by farmers (IB) has decreased.
• In July 2020, two agricultural subsectors experienced an increase in FTT and three subsectors experienced a decline. The subsector that experienced the largest increase in FTT occurred in the Animal Husbandry subsector, namely 2.15 percent from 99.53 to 101.68, and the Fisheries subsector by 0.60 percent from 96.73 to 97.31. While the subsector that experienced a decline in FTT was the Horticulture subsector by 1.36 percent from 94.91 to 93.62, followed by the Food Plants sub-sector by 0.26 percent from 101.35 to 101.09, and the People's Plantation Plant sub-sector by 0.25 percent from 99.94 to 99.68.
• Of the five provinces in Java that did NTP calculations in July 2020, four provinces experienced an increase in NTP, and one province experienced a decrease. The biggest increase in FTT occurred in the Special Region of Yogyakarta by 1.13 percent, followed by Banten Province by 0.63 percent, East Java Province by 0.22 percent, and West Java Province by 0.07 percent. While the province that experienced a decrease in NTP was Central Java by 0.33 percent.
