Abstract

The Fishermen's Exchange Rate (NTN) in East Java in April 2022 rose 1.33 percent from 103.32 in March 2022 to 104.70 in April 2022.

The development of NTN in April 2022 against December 2021 (calendar year) increased by 2.03 percent. The development of NTN in April 2022 against April 2021 (year on year) increased by 6.16 percent.

Of the six provinces in Java that calculated NTN in April 2022, two provinces experienced an increase in NTN, and four provinces experienced a decrease in NTN. East Java Province rose by 1.33 percent, and Banten Province rose 0.54 percent. The ones that experienced a decrease in NTN were Central Java Province, which fell 0.08 percent, DKI Jakarta Province decreased 0.28 percent, DI Yogyakarta Province fell 1.91 percent, and West Java Province fell 1.95 percent.

In April 2022 the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in East Java rose by 0.87 percent, while the Production Cost and Capital Goods Addition Index (BPPBM) rose 0.39 percent.
