Abstract

In April 2023, there were 12,361 visits by foreign tourists (tourists) to East Java through the Juanda entrance. This condition has increased compared to conditions in March 2023.

The number of foreign tourist visits in April 2023 increased by 742.03 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in April 2022 which totaled 1,468 visits.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-class hotels in East Java in April 2023 reached an average of 43.14 percent or decreased by 6.57 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 5 (five) star hotels of 47.25 percent is the highest TPK compared to other star-rated hotels.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of non-star classified hotels in East Java in April 2023 reached an average of 21.45 percent or decreased by 0.47 points compared to the previous month.

The average length of stay of foreign guests (RLMT) at star-class hotels during April 2023 was recorded at 2.11 days or an increase of 0.03 compared to March 2023. For the whole RLMT in April 2023 it was 1.57 days or there was a decrease of 0.07 points when compared to the situation in March 2023.
