Abstract

In May 2023, there were 15,734 visits by foreign tourists to East Java through the Juanda entrance. This condition has increased compared to conditions in April 2023.
The number of foreign tourist visits in May 2023 increased by 242.19 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in May 2022 which totaled 4,598 visits.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-class hotels in East Java in May 2023 reached an average of 54.86 percent, an increase of 11.72 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 3 (three) star hotels of 58.56 percent is the highest TPK compared to other star-rated hotels.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of non-star classified hotels in East Java in May 2023 reached an average of 25.39 percent, an increase of 3.94 points compared to the previous month.
The average length of stay of foreign guests at star-class hotels during May 2023 was recorded at 1.83 days or decreased by 0.28 points compared to April 2023. The overall RLMT in May 2023 was 1.62 days or an increase of 0.05 points when compared to the situation in April 2023.
