Abstract

Fisherman's Exchange Rate (NTN) is a comparison of the price index received by fishermen (It) to the price index paid by fishermen (Ib). NTN is an indicator to see the level of fishermen's ability/purchasing power. NTN also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of captured fishery products for goods and services consumed and for production costs. The East Java Fisherman's Exchange Rate (NTN) in September 2023 fell 1.67 percent from 101.70 in August 2023 to 100.01 in September 2023.
The development of NTN in September 2023 compared to December 2022 (calendar year) decreased by 2.43 percent. Meanwhile, the development of NTN in September 2023 compared to September 2022 (year on year) decreased by 2.38 percent.
