Abstract

In October 2023, there were 21,996 foreign tourist visits to East Java through the Juanda entrance. This condition has decreased compared to conditions in September 2023.

The number of foreign tourist visits in October 2023 increased by 133.63 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in October 2022 which amounted to 9,415 visits.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star class hotels in East Java in October 2023 reached an average of 56.64 percent or an increase of 2.73 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 4 (four) star hotels is 60.99 percent, which is the highest ROR compared to other star hotels.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of non-star classified hotels in East Java in October 2023 reached an average of 24.30 percent or an increase of 0.19 points compared to the previous month.

The average length of stay for foreign guests (RLMT) at star-classified hotels during October 2023 was recorded at 1.87 days or an increase of 0.45 points compared to September 2023. The overall RLMT in October 2023 was 1.49 days or an increase of 0.05 points when compared to the situation in September 2023.
