Abstract

In March 2024, there were 18.543 foreign tourist visits to East Java through the Juanda entrance. This condition has decreased compared to conditions in February 2024.
The number of foreign tourist visits in March 2024 increased by 74,83 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in March 2023 which amounted to 10.606 visits.
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star class hotels in East Java in March 2024 reached an average of 43,53 percent or decreased by 7,00 points compared to the previous month. The TPK for 2 (two) star hotels is 49,45 percent, which is the highest TPK compared to other star hotels.
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for non-star classified hotels in East Java in March 2024 reached an average of 19,17 percent or decreased by 4,98 points compared to the previous month.
The average length of stay for foreign guests (RLMT) at star-classified hotels during March 2024 was recorded at 2,20 days or an increase of 0,39 points compared to February 2024. The overall RLMT in March 2024 was 1,61 days or an increase of 0,13 points when compared to the situation in February 2024.
