Abstract

In April 2024, there were 29.043 foreign tourist visits to East Java through the Juanda entrance. This condition has increased compared to March 2024.

The number of foreign tourist visits in April 2024 increased by 134,96 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in April 2023 which amounted to 12.361 visits.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star class hotels in East Java in April 2024 reached an average of 48,57 percent or an increase of 5,04 points compared to the previous month. The TPK for 2 (two) star hotels is 56,37 percent, which is the highest TPK compared to other star hotels.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for non-star classified hotels in East Java in April 2024 reached an average of 22,52 percent or an increase of 3,35 points compared to the previous month.

The average length of stay for foreign guests (RLMT) at star-classified hotels during April 2024 was recorded at 1,95 days or decreased by 0,25 points compared to March 2024. The overall RLMT in April 2024 was 1,44 days or a decrease of 0,17 points when compared to the situation in March 2024.
