Abstract

The Human Development Index as an overall development performance outcome indicator is formed through three basic dimensions, namely long and healthy life, knowledge, and a decent life. These three indicators are aggregated into a single value, namely the Human Development Index (IPM). Presentation of HDI figures by region allows each province and district/city to know the results of human development, both attainment and disparities between regions. By knowing the achievements of human development in all regions, it is hoped that each region will be motivated to improve development performance through a basic population capacity approach.
