Abstract

Human Development Index as an overall development performance outcome indicator is formed through three basic dimensions, namely long and healthy life, knowledge and a decent living. These three indicators are aggregated into one single value, namely the Human Development Index (HDI). Presenting HDI figures by region allows each province and district/city to know the results of human development, both achievements and disparities between regions. By knowing the achievements of human development in all regions, it is hoped that each region will be motivated to improve development performance through a basic population capacity approach.
