Abstract

In May 2022, foreign tourists visiting East Java through the Juanda entrance totaled 4,598 visits. This condition has increased compared to conditions in April 2022.

The number of foreign tourist visits in May 2022 increased by 2,773.75 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in May 2021, which was only 160 visits.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star-classified hotels in East Java in May 2022 reached an average of 57.46 percent, an increase of 18.76 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 5 (five) star hotels is 64.96 percent, which is the highest ROR for other five-star hotels.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for non-star class hotels in East Java in May 2022 reached an average of 26.90 percent, an increase of 8.98 points compared to the previous month.

The average length of stay of foreign guests (RLMT) at star class hotels during May 2022 was recorded at 3.67 days or a decrease of 0.11 points when compared to April 2022 which reached 3.78 days. The overall RLMT in May 2022 is 1.51 days or there is no change when compared to April 2022.
