Abstract

In June 2022, foreign tourists visiting East Java through the Juanda entrance totaled 4,722 visits. This condition has increased compared to conditions in May 2022.

The number of foreign tourists visiting in June 2022 increased by 2.70 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in June 2021 which only 181 visits.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star-classified hotels in East Java in June 2022 reached an average of 54.25 percent or decreased by 3.21 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 5 (five) star hotels is 59.72 percent, which is the highest ROR for other five-star hotels.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for non-star class hotels in East Java in June 2022 reached an average of 25.24 percent or decreased by 1.66 points compared to the previous month.

The average length of stay of foreign guests (RLMT) at star-classified hotels during June 2022 was recorded at 2.76 days or a decrease of 0.91 points when compared to the situation in May 2022 which reached 3.67 days. The overall RLMT in June 2022 was 1.46 days or a decrease of 0.05 points when compared to the situation in May 2022.
