Abstract

In August 2022, foreign tourists visiting East Java through the Juanda entrance totaled 8,386 visits. This condition has increased compared to the conditions in July 2022.

The number of foreign tourist visits in August 2022 increased by 83,760.00 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in August 2021 which only visited 10 visits.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star-classified hotels in East Java in August 2022 reached an average of 50.11 percent or decreased by 6.51 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 2 (two) star hotels is 54.11 percent, which is the highest ROR for other star hotels.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for non-star classified hotels in East Java in August 2022 reached an average of 24.06 percent or decreased by 1.72 points compared to the previous month.

The average length of stay of foreign guests (RLMT) at star class hotels during August 2022 was recorded at 2.10 days or a decrease of 0.83 points when compared to July 2022 which reached 2.93 days. The overall RLMT in August 2022 was 1.52 days or a decrease of 0.02 points when compared to July 2022.
