Abstract

In December 2023, there were 23,244 foreign tourist visits to East Java through the Juanda entrance. This condition has improved compared to conditions in November 2023.
The number of foreign tourist visits in December 2023 increased by 62.96 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in December 2022 which amounted to 14,264 visits.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star class hotels in East Java in December 2023 reached an average of 62.77 percent or an increase of 5.18 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 4 (four) star hotels is 68.56 percent, which is the highest ROR compared to other star hotels.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of non-star classified hotels in East Java in December 2023 reached an average of 29.97 percent or an increase of 5.35 points compared to the previous month.
The average length of stay for foreign guests (RLMT) at star-classified hotels during December 2023 was recorded at 2.19 days or an increase of 0.18 points compared to November 2023. The overall RLMT in December 2023 was 1.42 days or a decrease of 0.05 points when compared to the situation in November 2023.
