Abstract

In March 2023, there were 10,653 visits by foreign tourists (tourists) to East Java through the Juanda entrance. This condition has decreased compared to conditions in February 2023.
  • The number of foreign tourist visits in March 2023 increased by 18,589.47 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in March 2022 which totaled 57 visits.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-classified hotels in East Java in March 2023 reached an average of 49.71 percent, an increase of 0.08 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 5 (five) star hotels of 52.88 percent is the highest TPK compared to other star-rated hotels.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of non-star classified hotels in East Java in March 2023 reached an average of 21.92 percent or decreased by 0.78 points compared to the previous month.
  • The average length of stay of foreign guests (RLMT) at star-class hotels during March 2023 was recorded at 2.08 days or had the same conditions as in February 2023. For the entire RLMT in March 2023 it was 1.64 days or an increase of 0.15 points when compared to the state of February 2023.
