Harvested Area and Production of Rice in Gresik Regency 2020

Integrated Agricultural Statistics of Food Crops Data Collection with Area Sample Frame Method is a collaboration among Statistics Indonesia (BPS) and the Technology Assessment and Application Agency (BPPT) to improve the methodology of conventional agricultural statistical data collection become more objective and modern. Data collection using the ASF method involves the role of android-based technology so that agricultural data collected will be more accurate and timely. This activity is a follow-up to the development and improvement of the previous pilot activity, namely Uji Coba KSA on Java in 2017.
KSA 2019-2020 area coverage covers all provinces in Indonesia and the data collected includes rice and corn commodities. KSA 2020 is held on the last seven days of every month from January to December 2020. In January to December 2020, the number of segment samples that were successfully observed in Gresik Regency were 135 segment samples. The estimated harvested area of ​​KSA 2020 observations from January to December 2020 is 67,010.80 hectares. Meanwhile, the estimated rice production in Gresik Regency from January to December 2020 is 407,716.63 tons of Milled Dry Rice (GKG). If it is converted to rice with the conversion rate of GKG to rice in 2019, rice production of 2020 is estimated at 234,211.04 tons of rice.
